Growth & Development Monitoring
Systematic tracking of your child's physical growth and developmental milestones with early identification of any concerns and timely intervention guidance.
Every Child Grows Differently — We Make Sure They're Thriving
Growth and development monitoring is not just about measuring height and weight. It is a comprehensive, ongoing assessment of how your child is progressing physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally. At Nurture Wellness Clinic, Dr. Gaurav Singh uses standardised WHO and IAP growth charts along with validated developmental screening tools to give you a complete picture of your child's progress.
Physical Growth Monitoring
We track weight, length/height, head circumference, and BMI at every scheduled visit and plot these on age-appropriate growth charts. Consistent plotting allows us to detect growth faltering, obesity risk, or head size concerns early — before they become serious problems.
Developmental Milestone Screening
Development happens in four domains: gross motor (rolling, sitting, walking), fine motor (grasping, drawing), language (cooing, babbling, speaking), and social-emotional (smiling, bonding, play). We use structured tools like the DASII and ASQ-3 to screen each domain at age-appropriate visits.
Neurodevelopmental Concerns
If a delay is identified, early intervention makes the biggest difference. We provide timely referrals to developmental paediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists — and help you navigate the next steps with clarity and support.
Vision & Hearing Screening
As part of development monitoring, we screen for vision and hearing concerns that could affect language and learning — often missed until school age if not caught early.
Behavioural & Emotional Development
We discuss temperament, sleep patterns, social interactions, and emotional regulation — helping parents understand their child's unique personality and how to nurture it.
